Urgent Question for Possibly Selling Stay

We have a current trip booked. We just received a sales contract on our house, and we need to be out within 3 weeks--which puts us in a huge bind with this upcoming trip. We really wanted to take this trip, but I'm not sure its going to be possible with the move, and relocating into a new house/temporary rental.

I could use the money for selling the trip to help pay for the move, but not sure 'how' to go about it. I'd rather not sell by the point (to David's), as I don't think I would make that much money (since it is not that many days).

I didn't even look at the point totals yet, as this all hit over the weekend. Is it better to try to sell the points---or would it be better to just advertise the entire stay as a lump sum????

Any advice??

If it were me I think I would put I on the rent/trade board as a confirmed reservation.

Sorry, but the details of your reservation had to be removed since the only place we allow information like that is on the Rent/Trade Board.

I would also suggest trying to rent your reservation on the Rent/Trade Board. If it does not rent easily, you can still cancel the reservation and try to make another reservation for the exact dates desired by potential renters. Sometimes the dates of an existing reservation do not match the needs of others.

Yep, missed it by a couple days, lol. We can either try to squeeze in a future trip before end of Oct, or try to rent these points out.

We are going to discuss it tonight.

I would first contact MS and see if there is anything that they can do to help.
