....so, sh'es never stayed there before either?

...yikes, I'm guessing by the lack of responses, this can't be too good a place....I'm getting a little worried...

Hi! I booked friends of mine into the facility about 2 years ago -- I'm pretty sure it was a 2 or 3 bedroom place. They absolutely loved it. The year before I put them in the Marriott Imperial Palms and they actually preferred this place over the Marriott. I know they liked the pool as well. Also, not sure if its on trip advisor but you might get some good feedback there as well. Enjoy your stay!!

Sorry we have never heard of it. Hope it all turns good for you and you enjoy your trip!:cool1:

We've never stayed here, but have done timeshare tours a couple times. It looks very nice but the units they show are the models. They seem to have a lot to do. It used to be called Wyndham Palms or something like that but it was never owned by the group now called Wyndham Vacation Club. We own Wyndham now and have for about 12 years and this was never one of their resorts. If the units are like the model, I don't think you can go wrong. I just don't know how well kept up they are. I'm sorry I am unable to give you better information.

Well, if it's really bad you'll just *have* to move someplace else for the rest of the week, and the AKL would be the perfect place! :rolleyes1

We own a 3br unit there for New Years week. I've never used all three bedrooms, but the 2br part is nice. Free mini golf is a big hit with the kids. It's a nice resort and very convenient to the parks. We walked up on the top floor of our building one year on New Years Eve and watched fireworks from all the parks.

We stayed here in May 2 years ago on a time share exchange and it was great. Being DVC owners we were nervous about staying there but it was a free week given to us, so we figured it can't be that bad. We stayed in a 2BR villa and it was perfect! Very spacious, and clean plenty of room to spread out, the kids had their own place to watch TV and chillout. Prior to our arrival I emailed the front desk to ask to be in a building close to the Dunes Lagoon pool, nice pool with a slide that's kid friendly, and we were placed in the building next to the pool. We had a ground floor unit which was fine with us, and it made unpacking the car and packing to leave so much easier. The kids loved the mini golf and I think we ordered Pizza Hut from the main pool area for dinner one night. We didn't eat in their restaurant but we have heard from friends who stayed there this past Spring Break that the food was wonderful. They have activities for the kids going on all day and movies at the pool at night ...we really enjoyed our stay there. We also enjoyed the fact that we were not asked to tour their facility to purchase into their time share, the only soliciation that happened was from the woman who escorted us to our room, she wanted to now if we needed park tickets or show tickets at a discounted rate, which we declined and that was that. The resort location is not bad either, just off of 192 and you can take the short cut on Sherberth Road onto Disney property easily too. I am sure you won't be disappointed in your stay there ... we too wer leary about it since we never heard of it but we would definately stay there again!:thumbsup2
