Urgent help needed!!

Trying to book Hoop-De-Doo online, but it wants to charge me $109 to my card, however I'm on the dining plan.
How do I get round this?

It takes your credit card info to hold the reservation. It won't charge the card until the meal is eaten. If you are a no show it will charge the card. If you are on the dining plan and you use your dining credits that night it will not charge your card.

It says the $109 will be charged today though. Unlike when we booked Cali Grill which said $0 will be charged today.

I'm not sure then. Disney opens up in about 5 minutes. You might have to call.

I would say, either call now (well, in a few minutes) or book online and try to get your payment refunded.

Be forewarned. My credit card WAS charged 127.00 for Hoop De doo Revue. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with CM to get this corrected. ADR had to be canceled and rebooked. I was told this should not have happened; but it did.

When you book things online, I think it actually charges the credit card, not just put it on hold. We booked CRT online and are on the dining plan, and it charged us immediately as well. I have heard from others that had the same issue. We will be paying for CRT OOP on this trip anyway, so it was not a big deal to us. Others had to call and get the charge reversed and changed to a hold.

I think if you want to avoid the immediate charges, you have to book on the phone.

Enter your resort reservation number on the page when you book the Hoop de Doo. The system has to know that you are on the dining plan. It's possible that if you tie in your room reservation, the system will understand that the dining plan is part of your reservation and not ask you to pay in full. If that doesn't work, then you will need to call the dining line and speak to a human in order to get the credit card hold and not full payment.

I ended up having to call to get my ressies at CRT, to ensure my card wouldn't get charged. The CM took my credit card info. and ran it through, but no charges were made since I'm using 2TS credits.
