UPDATE:


1. Discovery Cove has been wonderful. Basically told the family what ever they need its theres!

2. Disers: Some have been trying to help..I don't want to get anyone in trouble so I won't say names.... THANK YOU!

3. A Diser who wishes to remain nameless has graciously offered to share their Illum. Cruise. They are really looking forward to it!! THANK YOU!!

4. they will be staying at the TRadewinds... I hope its still nice. If anyone knows someone there please email me...

5. www. tourguidemike.com . Mike has been great!!! He has answered my email right away and He and I will be "talking" on Friday! Big thumbs up here for having a heart!!

6. Gifts of a Lifetime: Will deliver a welcome basket to GKTW...at regular prices....

7. Walt Disney World: It has been very disenchanting trying to talk to someone who has a clue. I have gone thru Guest services and Community Services and they just don't get what I am asking. It is truely dissapointing that a Company that so values customer service can only answer "we can't do that" over and over again. I also heard to many "I don't know about that ..its not my department...I will continue to climb up the ladder, Roy Disney is right!!

8. They will be staying at the Poly for 3 nights. Right now they have LV booked under the CTH code. I am trying to get them Conceirge LV with the AP rates it would cost the same.

Have you posted over on the DVC board? Last year a bunch of us donated points enough to send a family with a dieing young mother to WDW for 10 days. We got five nights in a 2 bedroom at OKW for them as well as 5 nights at AKL. The generosity of folks here is unbelievable. I would start the "point" parade again, but I am tapped out right now.

I did not think of the DVC board. They are only staying 3 days on property so I think its cheaper to try for an AP rate.

I 'think' Disney will only deal with the organizations that help the kids. There are oodles of them and SO many kids whose wish is WDW. I don't think they can do it individually as some people could potentially abuse that. I know some of the organizations are able to get PS's for Cinderella's or PSB. I knew 2 such kids that did that.
I think going with a code or an AP rate may be the best deal for a WDW resort. You are a good friend to be helping out. I will send prayers to them and to you. Good luck!
