Hi, I think I may have done something stupid! My mum was supposed to be going to WDW in a couple of weeks but for personal family reasons is no longer able to go. Was thinking of what I could do to cheer her up and was looking on eBay, prob first mistake!!! Anyway, I saw there was ppl who lived in kissime Florida who were selling the cross stitch things you see on art of Disney stores. Mum used to do this when she was young and always looks at them every year do I've ordered one from eBay. It cost about the same as what I remembered it costing, around 50 dollars. And with the seller being in kissime I thought it would be genuine. So I bought it and paid onnpaypal.just for interest I googled the particular design, it's called past present future, and I came across a couple of posts with warnings not to buy off eBay as they are fakes and not same quality etc! The seller has sold like hundred thousand items and has over 99 percent positive feedback but I'm just really worried now. This is A LOT of money to me and am scared of getting ripped off now!!! Can anyone give me any advice or tips on how to check it's real when it comes. Stressing!!!! Who said no good deed goes unpunished!!!!

Just moved across to UK comm.

Was it buy it now? if the price is what you expect for a genuine article then it probably is, if its very cheap its probably a fake(but not always)

If it arrives and it is a fake complain to the seller, if you get no joy from them complain to Paypal.

I don't know anything about this specific design but I have been searching and looking at the prices and they all seem to be going for $50 - 55 so nothing appears dodgy as far as pricing is concerned.

Was it advertised as genuine (or any similar wording)? You could always give it a quality inspection when you receive it. If you aren't happy, at least you paid with paypal so you have some protection if you believe it is not what was advertised or what you were led to believe you were buying.

I would say to wait and see what arrives.
To my mind the fact that the seller lives in Kissimmee gives it some credibility, and just because you have heard that there are fakes going on ebay it doesn't mean that all of them are.
Hopefully when it arrives in the post everything will be fine :goodvibes
