I have read everything in the above thread about getting Cindy's reservations and called this morning--no luck--was on hold for almost 10 minutes and of course it was sold out. It is no big deal because tomorrow is when I really need to get in. But my question is:

When I got past the initial message of "Welcome to Dining etc..." that let me know they were no longer closed there was an option to press 1 for all dining but V&A (press 2 for that) or stay on the line.

DO I PRESS 1 or JUST STAY ON THE LINE?????????

Will one give me a slight advantage over the other? (I just stayed on the line this morning)

Thanks

Definitely press 1. And start early. We were able to get ressies for our January trip on the date we wanted. I started dialing at 3:55 AM PST and got right in. As soon as I heard the welcome spiel, I hit one and got through right away. Breakfast in this restaurant is definitely worth the effort. Good luck!

Which number are you calling to press "1" when the shpeel starts? The 1-407- WDisney or the 1-800 for the DC members?

Don't waste time with the DC 800 number if you want to get through to Disney dining!

Also, be sure to call back later in the morning, or early afternoon if you don't get through - often there will be cancellations for that day, or an earlier day, when someone gets the actual day they want - don't give up!!! I got mine at about 12:30 pm after calling every morning for a week - got through twice, but the CM was useless - gave me the time and everything BEFORE he put the hold on the table - I was NOT a happy camper! Luckily - I read on the baords about someone cancelling their PS, as they had gotten two - when I called, the CM said they wouldn't have any, but she would check - low and behold - seating for 5 at 8:50 am! You can use the toll free number on the midday checks - just don't waste the time at 7 am!

Also use the atomic clock on the internet. I did, and the've consistently started answering the phones at 6:57 am, based on the atomic clock.

Just to clarify-- I did call the 1-407 number, not the 800 number and I did call early (started around 6:56 by atomic clock and got the closed message twice). The only problem is that I was given an option to press 1 or stay on the line (or press 2 if calling for V&A reservations) and I was not sure what to do. I think by choosing to stay on the line instead of pressing 1 immediately I wasted valuable seconds! I will try pressing 1 tomorrow as soon as the instructions begin.

I didn't have any luck this a.m. (on hold for over 12 minutes), but will be up and ready tomorrow a.m. with 3 phones going.

Another tip.. last year we didn't get any and I called the day before we left and got one. My take on human nature is, people may cancel if they got multiple ressies on same day (so call back on the day of they start taking ressies), but if people put down money for they prob. won't cancel until the 48 hour mark. We called right before we left last time and got ressies.

Good luck.

Hi, If you are lucky enough to get through to talk to a CM, don't waste time asking for a specific time for your PS. I asked for the best available time for the number of people in my party. I think that helps because they could be searching for 9:00, not have it and then you are wasting time while they search for something else.

Good Luck.

Called again today - on hold 5 minutes told 'all sold out'. Asked about day before and luckily got a cancellation. Think someone maybe had two and cancelled one. Hed two phones going.

I agree not to state any time - I just blurted out Cinderellas Royal Table party of 4 and the date. Let them pick the time. Keep trying.

Thanks to all of the great tips that I have read here the past 2 weeks I was lucky enough to get 2 reservations for CRT on my 2nd day. My DH and I had 3 phone lines going and each got in. I would be happy to coordinate with anyone who is interested.

What a great feeling when you finally get them. Can't wait to see DDs (2 & 6) faces when they get to the castle.

Thanks to everyone for all of the tips-they work!

momto2princesses, we'll be there on the 29th too, but at 8:50. DH, Myself and two little redhead girls aged 5 and 3.

Glad you were able to get in!

Don't give up. Keep calling everyday all day until you get it. I write down the names of the cm's and just keep calling over and over again. I f I get the same cm, I hang up and call right back. Also, try calling two days before the day you want. I think they release a lot of tables that were held by management for special requests. Call at 7:00 am on the dot for those.

What is and whow do I find the "atomic clock"???
