The gifts that we were going to do for our unit did not pan out and I was wondering if anyone could make up Standard Hershey bar wrappers that are Christmas season looking that say: Happy Holidays from Donna & Tami

Thank you so much !!!!

Here is one that I previously posted for others to use and added your wording. Hope it is what you were looking for!

When you print it make it 5.25 x 5.5 inches. It should fit on a regular hershey milk chocolate bar. Make sure you save it so that I can delete it and make room for other requests in my photobucket. Also, don't quote the image as it takes up linking space. thanks!

I DELETED THIS IMAGE TO MAKE ROOM IN MY PHOTOBUCKET, BUT IT CAN STILL BE FOUND IN MY 4SHARED FILE IN THE LINK IN MY SIGNATURE. LOOK IN THE CANDY WRAPPER FILE.

Dolly, could you make me one or show me how to do it please? I have photoshop.

Happy Holidays from: The Pinson's

TIA.

OK, I download it from your share page. Can you tell me the font name please?

It is called Boingo and I made it white, then I simplified it and went to "edit" at the top of the screen and "stroke". I set the stroke to the outside and used the dark blue green color at the bottom of the wrapper. Hope that makes sense.

I am trying to size this. Can you please tell me how to make it the size that I need. When I tried printing it, it is either to big or the words are cut off. I cannot seem to get it just right. Thank you so much.

Thank you! I'm not very good at photoshop yet but I'll try that. Thanks again.

Also on the print wizard how do you set it to have the right size and can we use regular copy paper?

I forgot one thing that I did...I also put a shadow behind the lettering to get it to stand out.

In the original one that I made I had the characters slightly wrapping around the candy bar. In this one I shrunk the image so that they would fit on the front of the candy bar along with the words. The sizing should be 5.25 x 5.5 inches to fit on a candy bar. Here is the new image that I made:

I think you must have missed it when I posted your wrapper...it should be 5.25 x 5.5 inches to fit around a regular milk chocolate hershey bar. If you need me to set it up for you in word send me a pm with your email.

Here is how you can try:

First, right click and save it to your pictures.

Next open up a MS Word document...then go to "insert" and "picture" to find and insert your picture by clicking "okay".

Then point and click on the picture with your mouse to ensure that it is highlighted/opened.

Then go to "format" at the top of the screen and "picture", then click on the "size" tab and make sure it is set to 5.5 (height) x 5.25 (width).

Let me know if that works for you. I printed one and it fit perfectly on a regular milk chocolate hershey bar.

I save the image as a jpeg then insert it into Word to print. The instructions are in the post above this one. If you need help adding your name...let me know. I would be happy to help!

Thank you! Sorry for being a pain.

You aren't being a pain. You are just learning how to do something new. We have all been there. Photoshop has a big learning curve, but once you understand how everything works it is fun to use! Don't give up...you will eventually get it. There are 100 ways to do everything...this is just how I do it. I do print things in photoshop, but I'm so comfortable with word...I tend to move my designs there to print them out.

Thank you. I always get the DISings from the nice ladies here, but I want to learn how to do it. I got the program and only use it to remove red eye from my pictures. Thank you for your help.

OMG!!! I did it! I think it looks almost like yours. :yay::yay::yay::yay: Thank you for your help.

OH My... I think it worked. I will have to try to print it out in the morning. I never realized that is how you change the size. Thank you very much !!!! A few month ago I had a design made for my daughters shirt and I had to fiddle with it so much to make it work. Oh than you again :)

I think I got the size on word. So do you print it on regular paper?

You did GREAT!!! It looks just like mine!

The best type of paper to print it on is brochure paper which is a glossy paper that you can get at office supply stores. It makes the wrapper look more professional. The other option is either cardstock or regular paper.

I'm glad that I could help and that you learned something new. You should check out the "How to Personalize DISigns using MS Word" thread:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2286193

If you can master size...you can start personalizing blank DISigns when you find them with you and your daughters names and it will teach you how to make your own things using MS Word.
