1) Should have kept the posting.
2) We have lots of experts to advise.
3) In my own case,
. . . we had an electrical issue
. . . with my education and experience, I did the job myself
. . . and, I only blew one circuit breaker
. . . unfortunately, it was at the town's substation and 1/2 of the area went black

I only managed to blow a transformer...and that was due to a hunting accident.

that's nothing! we had a squirrel wipeout the transformer in my neighborhood. Even set the grass on fire! what a mess!
