Need help from anyone who has ever added extra days to a WDW trip at the last minute... I am leaving on March 10 and was originally coming home on March 14. I now have the opportunity to stay a couple days longer, but I need help. I had booked everything separately (airfare, resort, 4 Day Park Hopper Tickets). What are my concerns with doing this? For the additional nights, will Disney honor the discounted rate I got when I booked originally? Any suggestions as to ticketing options for the extra days? I'm sorry if these are dumb questions, but I've honestly never been through a situation like this before :confused3 , and I don't want to get taken to the cleaners if I don't have to! :)

I know you all are experts, and I really appreciate any info you can give me about your own experiences! Thank You SO Much!! :worship:

Call the resort and check on extending you days you might get lucky and still get the same rate. If not you might consider paying the rack rate for a couple days if you really want to stay as for you hopper you can exchange it for a ticket with a day or two more on it.
You airline might be the only problem changing, there could be a charge for that.

I'd check w/ the the resort first to see if they can extend your stay and at what rate. If you can extend at your good rate....lock it in w/ that CM. (You can always shorten it again later)

Then call the airline. Check availability and any fees they might charge to change flights. If it's not bad, you're all set. :flower: If they want to charge you more or impose fines. You can keep what you have...and call Disney back to shorten your stay. At least you tried.

Upgrading your tickets is a breeze! And that won't cost much. After a 4-day pass, the increments are very small for each add'l day. It's so much better! :cool1:

Good luck!!!

Thanks to both of you who replied! I've almost gotten through all my adjustments. Your advice helped me calm down and do things in the right order! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
