I was watching the travel channel and they showed this upside down museum! Does anyone know if it is near Universal? We will be there for several days and would like to find this place, but I can't remember what it was called.

TIA

Wonderworks is fun! It's on I-drive, near Pointe Orlando, which is about 10 mins from Universal.

They also have a really fun Lazer Tag on their third floor.

It's located just north of the convention center on the east side of I-drive. It's near that mall where you have to pay to park. That's why they're not doing good, and why FAO Schwarts is rumored to be shutting down. People don't want to pay to go shopping.

FAO Schwartz is already closed down...I tried to go in there recently and it was already shut down. I was really sad about this.

Wonderworks!! Great thanks, and thanks for the www

It looks like a lot of fun...definitely have to go. What about the big skull place? Ripley's? Are these places cool too? Thanks again.

After reading this, I wish we would have gone to Wonder Works instead of Ripley's. I don't know if anyone else likes Ripley's, but we thought it was terrible, and pretty expensive for what it is. Maybe we'll check out WW this time around!

As momnum1 said, Ripleys is terrible. Don't go, it's a waste of time and money. I also wish we would have gone to Wonder Works instead.

I thought it was awful. Many of the exhibits were like arcade games but you did not have to pay.
They do take the Entertainment card and only charged me for my son.

are you referring to Ripley's or Wonderworks?

They're about equal, so if you don't like one, you probably won't like the other. The only difference is that WonderWorks is a little more hands-on. I personally didn't like it at all, but it's been years since I was there.

And for the person who asked, the place in question is Skull Kingdom. A year-round haunted house. That's downright horrible. There's like 5 people working in the entire building. It's especially not worth it when HHN is going on.

We won free tickets for the four of us - went our first day in Orlando. Sure it was fun, but we wouldn't go back again. We went because after landing, it was an on again-off again rainy day. If your kids love those "please touch type" museums, they'll enjoy this one.

I'd splurge on Disney Quest instead.

Anyone been to the dinner magic show at Wonderworks? How was it? My kids love live magic shows.

Is that what is going on? We were there in July and the mall was nearly deserted at 6pm during the week.
