Okay, I'll raise my hand and say, "Guilty"! Right now I have 14 ADRs; in the end, I'll only be using 6 of them. However, I'll cancel them at some point and someone else will grab them and everyone will be happy.
I did it using only one account, one ID. I do have dinners booked for the same night, but 1.5 hours apart so the system let me do that.
We're going in August. At this point, my AK ad DHS days are up in the air, so I have meals double booked until I decide which park we'll be in. I want breakfast at Boma on AK day; my kids want to try Yak & Yeti for dinner, so I've booked both and will cancel one at some point.
I have 'Ohana on our arrival night, but not sure if that's going to be the best day for us after being up to catch a 6:30 flight that morning. So I also have it booked (on the same night as another ADR) for later in the week. As we get closer and make final decisions, I'll cancel one.
I have an early dinner at DTD on the day we'll be there, but also a later one at Park Fare, because we might leave and do that and then MK at night.
So, yes, I'll admit to not making up my mind 6 months in advance where I want to eat dinner or what our day's plans will be. Yes, maybe I'm being "selfish and greedy" but what I'm doing is well within Disney's rules, or the system would have kicked me out. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to keep options open until closer to the time that we'll actually be doing these meals. And I'll make someone's day when I cancel an 'Ohana dinner a week before and they're able to scoop up that last ADR they were really hoping to get! So open it up now or open it up later, someone is going to use it and be happy.
I have to say in the big scheme of things, I don't think any of this makes me Disney's #1 Criminal Most Wanted! But others may disagree.
