Upset with disneyshopping.com

Bought my DD a cute inital necklace with a little Mickey charm on it. This is her Valentines day gift to go in a little basket of items for her Disney trip. Along with this item I purchased her a pair of flipflops.
I received a confirmation letter stating my order was processed. Then I received a letter stating the items had been shipped and both items were on the invoice.
I got my package today and no necklace was in it but they are both on the packing slip. Called as soon as I opened it and they told me it was out of stock. So I asked what about the common decency of letting the consumer know that the item wasnt being shipped. Well thats not my dept and blah blah blah. They did give me a online gift card credit for the item and the lady was nice, but I think it is just insane not to let me know that it wasnt coming.
I know in the scheme of things this is a small thing to be peeved about but after going thru this with many items for Christmas I have just had enough.

I won't buy from DisneyShopping ever again. Orders messed up, backordered items not ever showing up, items coming to me either broken or wrong, and other instances (a $25 giftcard that was free with the order of an item never coming and being told they couldn't do anything about it), they ran out of chances to make it right with me.

Hope you get your item, but based on my experiences, don't hold your breath. :sad2:
 
They said I cant get my item. They dont know when its ever gonna come in stock i really wanted it WAHH oh well just have to find someplace else to get it at. Sucks they treated you like that wouldnt expect them to be that way.
 
I've had problems with several online orders... it's not just Disney.

I ordered a dress for my daughter the first of October. When it had not arrived by mid November, I called. It was back ordered. They didn't bother to tell me before I called. Okay. The dress should be in and I should have it by first week in December. Dress arrives mid-December. I ordered a size small. The dress they shipped to me was an extra large. I send the dress back. It costs me $14 to do this. I call their customer service to make sure they received the dress back and that they will ship the right size. By this time, I'm pretty sure it won't arrive in time for Christmas. It doesn't. When it finally arrives The second week of January, it is THE WRONG SIZE again! This time it is a size medium. I call and ask to speak to a manager. I tell them what happened. The manager just says "Send the dress back". I tell him that I have already spent $14 shipping one dress back due to their mistake and I don't want to spend another $14 correcting their second mistake. He arranges for UPS to pick up the dress. I cancelled the order. So, no dress and out $14. Not a good shopping experience.
