I am looking for an upscale buffet off property
Something with a seafood selection along with
all the breakfast selections. I would prefer not
going to far out of WDW, but lets hear what you
folks have for me. I thank you kindly

Hi! I posted a similar question back in April. Here is the thread...

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1435037

We ended up eating a late breakfast at Boma that day. I love the Boma buffet and highly recommend it, although we were looking for something a bit more "upscale" originally. Let us know what you decide!

I highly recommend checking out the Sunday Brunch at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. You can go to their website on line. The food is some of the best on Disney property....the gospel music is soooo entertaining. You will not be disappointed, I promise. If you can any questions about it, just ask.

Quick question for you, Ruby...is the HOB brunch extremely "loud?" That was one complaint I heard. Of course "loud" is a matter of opinion, I suppose. Just wondering what your opinion was! I did want to try that brunch on our last trip, but ended up at Boma. Thanks!

The La Coquina at the Hyatt Grand Cypress has a wonderful Champagne brunch....its on the pricey side...but you cant beat the food
and its not to far

In my opinion, it is fabulous. I couldn't recommend it more. It is one of the things that my children (7, 8 & 20) request we do each time we go to DW. Is it "loud"? It can be...but you can request seating away from the stage. There is the 2nd floor balcony, as well as, the tables that are closest to the buffet. Do you have someone in your party that is sensitive to loudness? It's a concert, for sure, but it's only about a 1/2 hour, you can minimize the noise by requesting a table as far away from the stage as possible. My younger kids always end up on stage at the end for the last song. It's very interactive. PM me with your email address and I'll send some video from the July 07, if you'd like. Maybe you could get a feel for it that way. Let me know if you need further help!

Gaylord Palms up the road from WWOSports. The Grand Cypress is very nice too.

Thanks for all the choices. We have done Boma it was
on one of our early trips and although it gets good re
views it wasn't one of our favorites. We have been to
HOB Sunday Brunch twice and we enjoyed both the food
and entertainment very much. I am leaning towards the
Gaylord Palms Resort, for what I can find it looks to be
very good. Once again, I thank you kindly

I would go to Solaris in the Marriott World Center. They have a buffet that is about 70 feet long and serve until 1:00 on Sundays. It is seven days a week.

Technically it is a breakfast buffet, but in addition to over a dozen types of fruit, they have egg, waffles and pancakes to order and a large selection of meats including Parma Ham as well as lox and really lots of other stuff. I try to hit it about once a month. Current price is $18.95 and if you use valet parking it is $5.00 plus tip.

My favorite is the Sunday Brunch at the Renaissance near Sea World.

Think of a food - any food? Pretty sure they have it - for breakfast foods, casseroles, meats and fishes, desserts. Just unreal.

Also free flowing champagne and traveling music.
