UPS question regarding getting your tickets

Big grrrr on UPS right now. Before I make a long distance call to DLR, thought I'd check here first.

Got a call today from UPS saying the package would be here today between 8 am and 7 pm. I'm getting ancy. It's 6:20. I know that's not 7, but UPS is usually at my house between 11 - 2.

When UPS called, the message said hit 2 for tracking information. Instead, it disconnected me. I have no tracking ##. I called UPS, they said they can't do any kind of search w/o a tracking ##.

So, if I call Disney Reservations, will they have that kind of info?

I thought by now I'd be staring at my cute tickets! :sad1:
 
If disney sent it they have the tracking info. Did Disney send you an email with information about your tickets maybe the shipping information is in it?
 
Nope, no email. Had no idea it was coming today until I got the call this morning.

UPS never came. I'll call Disney. But I went through Costco, so hopefully, they'll still help me.
 

Just call the number that Costco gave you. Should be the same CMs, just answering as though they are Costco. At least that was my experience. :)
 
Called the Costco ##. #$&# UPS!!! The call CLEARLY stated the package was going to be here today. It's not even in the same town! It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Thanks, UPS!
 
Ugh.


When we got our call (this is in Sept '07), they said "we'll be there in the late afternoon" or something like that. Something that made us say "OK let's get out for our errands now (it was around 10am) so we'll be back by 1 and have plenty of time.

Got ready fast, and just as we were leaving our apartment, we ran into the UPS guy. :headache:

Now, I'm glad we ran into him. But like you, they stated something clearly on their little auto-message (don't know if yours was auto or a real person), and it was just incorrect. Grr.
 
I went through Costco also and when UPS called me they stated that it would come the next day. I know another poster here had the same experience. Not saying you heard wrong but that was just what happened to us. Wish I would of saw this earlier to ease your mind!
 
I knew some people had gotten messages the day before, so when I saw it was UPS, I was like SO CAREFUL about listening! :goodvibes But I still can't get over they gave me an 11 hour window! I'm sure that's standard and all, but with all the technology out there, and with their drivers so heavily scheduled (I know if they're at a business just for pick up, and they've got packages for that business scheduled for later in the day, they won't leave them, they'll come back for when they hit that line item!), there would be some way to narrow that down to like 6 hours.

But today is another day! Even if I miss them today, I'll get the package tomorrow. But it's almost here, which means my first DLR trip is almost here!! Can hardly contain my excitement!!! :cool1::cool1:
