When shipping a box down to your hotel, which is better to use?

They both have tracking, UPS seems a little more reliable sometimes. Post office might be a little cheaper.

Any experience with one or the other?

I used Fed Ex in February and they delivered my package to the wrong hotel...not even a disney hotel. The girls at Pop were wonderful in tracking it down for me though. So, that being said, I would still go either UPS or Fed Ex...while you can track with the USPS, it no where near as easy to get through to them as it is with Fed Ex or UPS....be sure to put on your box, your name, resort, confirmation # and arrival date in BIG print. I put it in several places on the box. Had the Fed Ex employee not been an idiot and (and POP CENTURY was in HUGE letters on my box)....it would not have been in issue, but, it all worked out in the end.

Use UPS or FedEx to ship to a Disney Resort. The Postal Service (USPS) delivers the package to some central receiving area rather than right to the resort and it may not get to you when you need it. Someone else can probably explain it better. We shipped UPS and it worked great. On the website you can enter where you are shipping from and to and the size of the package and it will tell you the price and how long it will take to get there so you know when to ship. I gave my package two extra days, but it did arrive when the website had said it would. The concierge area at the front desk then shipped it home for us. (I had packed in the box: a shipping lable with our home address and tape so the box would be ready to go). Hope this helps.

UPS is the largest shipping company in the world. Use them.

They are extremly reliable. As the previous post suggested, mark the name of your hotel clearly and legibly.

Go with FedEx, much better service. I've had several shipments damaged by UPS. One damage claim took an entire year to get payment out of UPS.

You can go online to each carrier and put in the dimensions of your box and get a quote based on weight of how much it will be and how long it will take to get there. We did this and FedEx was cheapest.

UPS or FedEx!!! They are fast and you can track your orders accurately! Whenever we use the us postal service we are sadly disappointed. This has happened waay too much. Whenever we use UPS or FedEx--we LOVE IT!
