How much of a pain is the claim on this going to be??? My mom sent an anniversary present to us UPS. We live at 103 but UPS inputted the address as 130. They left it at the front door of 130 yesterday.

UGGG

My mom has her receipt where she clearly wrote 103 but on the tracking info it does say 130.

Anyone work for UPS? Will they even cover that??

Of course my neighbor and I just trekked down to 130 and the people there said they never saw a package. The whole thing seemed shady to me, there was hardly any furniture, no pictures on the wall and she kept telling me she didn't speak English but when she did speak to me her English was fine and she understood everything I asked.

The present was a photo so it isn't valuable to anyone but me. It isn't even something they could sell for more than a few dollars.

I swear I hate my neighborhood, of course I can't move, but that is another thread.

 oh that is a shame!
your mom must be upset...

many moons ago my aunt sent my sister a handmade christening blanket for my neice and it was delivered to the wrong house ...down the street.... we never got it!!:sad2:

I don't think my folks put in a claim....maybe my aunt got something IDK...

Thank you. She is upset. DH and I have had a very hard year and are just finding our way. She wanted to do something nice for me (us). It was a print that I have wanted for a long time. DH is away on business, which I hate. We have plans for both Friday and Sat so he didn't send anything.

I'm just sad and frustrated because I know my mom wanted to surprise me since she knew I'd be alone.

that reminds me...I got something from priority mail a couple weeks ago for a neighbor down the street... I really should go give it to him... I have nooo idea what it is....but he may be waiting on it!!!

I'm sorry you havne't got your package :(

I ordered low-fat muffins about a year ago. UPS said they delivered them to my front porch. I never got them. I struck a "compromise" from the owner of the muffin shop - she sent me half my order, on her. It never occurred to me to pursue compensation from UPS. They said they delivered it to my porch. All I know, I didn't receive them.

Good luck.

UPS this spring delivered a package here but it was addressed to a different name and street. I called UPS three times over 4 days before they came to get it. The first call the UPS lady asked me to deliver it, but it was no where near where I live.

I had packages delivered to me TWICE during one week last year for the same address(not mine). The first one I opened without even looking at the label, because I was expecting a package. I trekked that one down the street and gave it to the right people. Then a few days later, another package came for them. That time I called and asked UPS to send them out to get it. I didn't want them to get the idea that I would do their work for them. My street number is displayed prominently on my mailbox and beside my front deck, so I don't know what the problem was.:confused3

Seriously? You've been sitting on this for a couple weeks. Hope it's not his mothers ashes or something.

please do so asap - or give it to the mail person so it could be redelivered or returned to the sender.

I don't care if it goes back to my mom or to UPS to redeliver I just don't want my neighbors to keep it. Not that they would even want it but that seems to be the case.

All I know is that the neighborhood garage sale is this week so I'll be walking down to their house looking for it.

I do the UPS shipping and billing for our company. Just contact UPS and let them know....They will mail you some paperwork which you will fill out and supply with a receipt showing the value. Then they should cut you a check for the amount due up to $100 dollars unless you had additional insurance on it.
