Thats what we did last August, cancelled Port Orleans then rebooked AKL but for us it was similar price for AKL as we got a great AP rate of £81/night, then got upgraded to savannah room.

I was wondering if I could come up with some kind of DIS meet rouse....like thats why we have to get on the AKL ME, as i'll miss it otherwise.....and then I could go 'ask' reception where the meet is....leave Jack with the bags and then come back with our key.....

I was thinking of making a fake little DIS meet flyer with times, on, saying AKL 1st October - ask at reception for meet location. etc. etc.

POFQ is nice but AKL has a fantastic theme!

Maybe when you're "finding out where the meet is" you could send your family out the back of the lodge where they can get a look at some animals (in case there is a queue at check in and they notice what you're doing!!). There's usually a cast member there who can keep them distracted!

I have the same kind of thing.....We are staying at OKW, then a 4 night cruise, then have a further 4 nights which my husband thinks we will be returning to OKW but I have booked us in at the POLY!! I have managed to keep it a secret since August...oh well only got another 6 months to go!
