Uppy, Uppy, Mr. Andy -- Update -- WRAP UP -- Post 1346, Page 90

Hey there! Thanks for making your shameless plug over on Barry's TR. :lmao: I'll try to keep up, but this moves a little faster than the DIS Dads TRs that I'm used to.:rotfl2:

I left the office at 1:10; I planned on leaving at 1:00, but the boss asked me to help him send an email.
Sounds like my boss. He's always forwarding e-mails to other people and asking them to print them for him. In his defense, that little button with a picture of a printer on it can be a little bit vague. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Our only goal while here was to go to the Disney Outlet store.
I have heard great things about this place, but never made it there. Looks like you got some good deals.:thumbsup2

Okay, let's fulfill several of your wishes and get some Kidani villa photos posted.
That villa looks amazing. I can see how that could bring tears to your eyes!

love your villa! all the details are just amazing!

Wow that room is gorgeous! No wonder you didnt want to leave the resort!

Your room is so adorable. Disney always puts so much detail into everything. I love the Nala and Simba images on the bed frame. I think alot people cry at Disney, sometimes things are so beautiful it just takes your breath away. I remember crying when we went for Christmas it was just so magicalpixiedust: I couldn't help myself.:goodvibes Thank you for taking us to a place most of us will never see and giving some of us a goal to work towards. Can't wait to hear much much more:lovestruc

great room, nice of you to take a picture of the marv sign above the elevator...it was like he was welcoming you to his home.
:thumbsup2

Love your room! Can't say I blame you one bit for crying. The room looks so relaxing. Can't wait to see more pics!

I am with Mary Ellen on the told u so!!! Kidani hands down is one of my favorite places on the planet. I cry everytime I go. I am glad you got such a great view.

You are so right! :guilty: I think it has something to do with the company I keep..... :rolleyes1

Mark just wanted a picture of those legs!!! ;) And how nice you got your "Welcome Home" with a rose! :flower3:
Okay, there has to be a Dan, Tim, Glenn or Jordan comment in there somewhere........ :lmao:

And who might I ask are you refering to as "COMPANY":rotfl2:

Kathy the pix of the villa are inspiring as in ME TO GO!!!!!:cloud9::love:

:yay: I'm glad you liked your suite at Kidani Kathy!

Dan, thanks for taking care of Marv for me. ;)

Oh Kathy, I know exactly how you felt! They are just gorgeous aren't they and I agree completely with Mary Ellen, the pictures don't really do them justice:thumbsup2

Love your villa!!! Everything about it! It looks much larger than the BCV 1br. Is it? The decor is beautiful. Inside just relaxing or on the verandah watching animals, either way, heaven!!

Oh I can't wait to see more! We fell in love with this resort the moment we got off the bus. We stopped at Kidani (had no idea where we were) and finally made our way over to Jambo for our ressie at Boma. LOVED Boma. And you had a one bedroom which means jacuzzi. Hello?!?!?! My dream room. :cloud9:

I hear you on the crying. I burst into tears at CBR checking in when we were upgraded to a connecting room with our friends in preferred corner room section with a perfect lake view. Most incredible pixie dust ever. Glad you get sentimental too. ;)

I fell in love with it the first time we were "resort hopping" and once you stay, I'm not sure there is any turning back.

I get sentimental about a lot of things (I still cry at the end of the The Wizard of Oz).

Wow! Nice room. Can't wait to see more.

It was spectacular.

All I can say is I Told You So!!!!!!!!:rotfl: Isn't it just the most amazing place????

For people who have never stayed there - those pictures don't even begin to do it justice. Pictures really can't capture how truly magical and beautiful those villas are.

OK....now....MORE!!!!!!

You most certainly did tell me so and I should have believed you. I knew it would be special, but it went way beyond my expectations. You are right...the pictures do not do it justice.

Okay, back from Paris and catching up on my subscribed theads! :thumbsup2

I am happy to hear your travel day went so well, and shopping at the Disney outlets the first day is just my kind of vacation! :lmao: You are my kind of girl, I always knew that! :rotfl2:
Great that your villa was ready - we experienced plenty of it this summer ourselves! :goodvibes
Kidani looks really nice, we saw a sample room during the DVC presentation, but it must be even nice in the real resort!
Can't wait for more photos! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Karin. I love a good travel day, and the villa was unbelievable.

Mark just wanted a picture of those legs!!! ;)

I doubt that very much. :lmao::lmao:

And how nice you got your "Welcome Home" with a rose! :flower3:

I have to say that every time they said "Welcome Home" I felt like a fraud since we don't actually have a "home" there.

Okay, there has to be a Dan, Tim, Glenn or Jordan comment in there somewhere........ :lmao:

Starting trouble, I see (but you'll see later down in this thread that someone came right back at you! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

AMAZING villa, Kathy. So happy for you. Kidani looks so beautiful. I'm sure I would have cried, too. :goodvibes

Tina, I'm not even sure after Kidani that I have any real desire to try the Beach Club or any other deluxe...I think we've found our "deluxe" home with AKL and OKW.

Great pictures of your room! I can't wait until I can stay there one day. And I totally get the crying too, I do it when I walk in a room at POP because I'm so happy to be there!

I hope you get to experience one day soon yourself.

Hey there! Thanks for making your shameless plug over on Barry's TR. :lmao: I'll try to keep up, but this moves a little faster than the DIS Dads TRs that I'm used to.:rotfl2:

Well, since Barry said I could and there seems to be no action on his, Mark's or Brian's TR's, someone has to have something to read. ;) I'll be slowing down when we get to the "park" days because I haven't ordered the photopass CD yet.

Sounds like my boss. He's always forwarding e-mails to other people and asking them to print them for him. In his defense, that little button with a picture of a printer on it can be a little bit vague. :confused3 :rotfl2:

They crack me up...but I do love my boss -- been with him 36 years.

I have heard great things about this place, but never made it there. Looks like you got some good deals.:thumbsup2

It's a great outlet store.

That villa looks amazing. I can see how that could bring tears to your eyes!

Amazing it was.

love your villa! all the details are just amazing!

Wait until you see the pictures of the curtains, rug, etc. (assuming they turned out)

Wow that room is gorgeous! No wonder you didnt want to leave the resort!

Hey sis! As much as we loved OKW, it was very hard leaving AKL and the animals.

It was a great villa -- truly special and magical. Bathroom pics coming up soon--and talk about love at first sight!

great room, nice of you to take a picture of the marv sign above the elevator...it was like he was welcoming you to his home.
:thumbsup2

I just about spit my coffee out when I read that, Dan! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

My goodness, the AKL villa looks amazing. I've only seen Jambo House, and even then just the lobby, but it rivals the WL as my favorite themed resort on property. I can only imagine how amazing it is to call it home for a few days. Can't wait to see more!

Love your room! Can't say I blame you one bit for crying. The room looks so relaxing. Can't wait to see more pics!

I was just in awe. I hope to get an update this afternoon or this evening.

I am with Mary Ellen on the told u so!!! Kidani hands down is one of my favorite places on the planet. I cry everytime I go. I am glad you got such a great view.

Mary, I now understand why you love it so much. I don't know how we'll stay anywhere else.

Awesome, Kathy! Can't wait to read more!

Thanks, Heather. I still wake up thinking I was dreaming that we were able to stay there.

Wow that Villa looks amazing! Love all the pics!

Thanks, Kacey.

And who might I ask are you refering to as "COMPANY":rotfl2:

Kathy the pix of the villa are inspiring as in ME TO GO!!!!!:cloud9::love:

Rosie, you should do it one trip...you will be enchanted.

:yay: I'm glad you liked your suite at Kidani Kathy!

Dan, thanks for taking care of Marv for me. ;)

Glenn, it was beyond everything I expected.

Someone has to take care of Marv. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Oh Kathy, I know exactly how you felt! They are just gorgeous aren't they and I agree completely with Mary Ellen, the pictures don't really do them justice:thumbsup2

The pictures could never do it justice. Simply breathtaking.

Pretty pretty room and some nice power shopping!!!!!!!!!

I was very happy with my shopping purchases (especially the sundress).

Love your villa!!! Everything about it! It looks much larger than the BCV 1br. Is it? The decor is beautiful. Inside just relaxing or on the verandah watching animals, either way, heaven!!

I can't answer about BCV 1 br as we've never stayed at BCV; BC was the last deluxe I wanted to try, but I think the next time we do deluxe it will definitely be back to AKL or OKW...we just loved them both.

It was pure heaven sitting on the patio watching the animals.

Mark, it was incredible. :thumbsup2
