What's the difference between an upper berth pull down bed and a Murphy bed? Or are they the same?

Upper berth is a bed that comes down from the ceiling(host pulls it down) and is essentially over top of the couch(like a bunk bed).

A murphy bed comes out of the wall and sits low like the couch bed does.

Also there is a weight limit on the upper bunk. I think it's 225 or 250. I know whatever it was, I ended up on it because my sister was over the limit when we did a family cruise to celebrate our parents' anniversary. It wasn't the most comfy thing I've ever slept on, but it was FAR more comfy than a lot of beds I've dealt with.

Thanks! Do you (or anyone)know if the upper berths have the stars above it, like the the upper bunks?

Pretty sure the upper bunk and berth is the same thing. The one that pulls from the ceiling and requires a ladder to get into it has stars above (they don't glow that I remember).

The murphy bed sits on the floor and no stars - it's too far for them to be noticeable anyway.
