I am new to DSLR, have a Canon, and I took a bunch of photos on my vacation. On my computer they look so clear and awesome. I uploaded them to Shutterfly and they do not look the same, a little fuzzy and not sharp (especially faces). My "quality" in setting is Raw + L. Is there something I should be doing before sending them to Shutterfly? Should I be changing my quality settings?

TIA!

Shutterfly runs it's own optimization on the images, that's likely contributing to the discrepancy. It can also be simply viewing them in a web browser as opposed to another method like in a photo editing program.

Always shoot the best quality your camera is capable of. You can always size down a file but you can't add what's not there very easily.
