Uph ?

We've paid for our hotel (ASMo) and UPH and now the airline has changed our return flight, they moved it up earlier, by 2 hours. Question, if we want to take out that last day from our UPHs, will they credit our room key with the difference? Should I wait until we have checked in (hoping the airline might change it back?) or should I call now? We had a return flight of 7:45pm which gave us almost a full day to enjoy at the parks but now its been cut by 2 hours, and since its the Sanford Airport we have to go back to and its an hour to get there it cuts it down to almost 4 hours so we decided to stay at the hotel and check out late. This is the first time using UPH so I don't know what the procedure is. We're a party of 11 so moving around is not the easiest thing. Has this happen to any of you??? TIA

I have always been told that if you purchase the UPH prior to your trip the hotel can not take off any of the days. I wonder if you are able to cancel the tickets now and repurchase when you get to the hotel.

As kathylovesdisneyworl said, you cannot drop days if you purchase your UPH tickets in advance.

If you are able to cancel the advance purchase (I'm don't know what cancellation policy you booked under) and buy your UPH tickets at the resort, you can drop either the arrival or departure day. However, you will pay gate price for the UPH tickets.

You'll have to do the math to see which option is better for you.

Airline tickets are already purchased, it is a large group so we had to book early to make sure we got the same flight! Thanks for the replies. I'll call and see what I can do.

Thanks to you all, I called the hotel and we changed it to 2 reservations, one with the UPH for the 3dy/4nt and last day w/o tickets and we have a $643 credit to our room! WOOO HOO!
