UPH question

Hi,

We have the OKW GV for a week in June; some friends we invited found out today that they will only be able to stay for 3 full park days. Will it be possible for them to get a 3 day UPH since they are only staying that long? All the rest of us are getting UPH for the entire stay.

If I remember correctly, the minimum amount of days for the UPH's is 4 days - if you do not use all 4 days the unused days do not expire though so if they only use 3 of the 4 days they can still use the 4th day on a future trip.

My son stay at the BWV's in July. The reservations where for 2 nights. He purchased the UPH since it was the only ticket that allow him to park hop.

I think it depends on the CM who waits on you. I believe the quoted rule allows you to drop the first or the last day or both. 7 day stay you can purchase a 5,6 or 7 day UPH.

I would call MS and ask about it. Since there are no 3 day passes I think the only other option would be 3 single day tickets. Sometimes MS can make magic happen and a 3 day pass normally reserved for convention goers may become available.
Also check with the ticket agent advertised at this site. They had some 3 day passes in the pass but I'm not sure they are still available.

Thanks, I think I will call MS and see what they say. Hopefully they will work with us on this as we have 10 others purchasing full length UPH's

Here's another thought.....

You or your guests could purchase discount Park Hopper Plus tickets for 4 days and up (there is a disboards link somewhere). The unused days never expire.

We have gotten into the habit of doing this, and just buying back the unused days from our guests, because we always end up using them.

They don't include DQ though, if that was in your plans.

Ultimate Park Hopper (UPH) is a lentght of stay ticket which expires at end of day the day you check out. Unused days can not be saved. It can be for as short as one night/2days. I'm not sure how they handle gusts staying differet lengths of time in the same room.

With Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus tickets you can use unused days on future trips as unused days never expire.
