I booked our room last week and was told that if we wanted UPH that we had to purchase them for the enite length of stay. The problem with that is we fly in late in the day on the 14th and we leave early on the 19th for a 4 day cruise. Is there any way to avoid making 3 different room reservations?

If you buy them at the front desk when you check in they'll generally let you drop either the first or last day, sometimes both days.

The downside of that is you will have to pay gate price rather than the advance purchase price.

Are you sure you want/need the Ultimate Park Hoppers?

Unless you plan to visit Disney Quest multiple times during your stay, you will very likely be better off buying park hopper or park hopper plus tickets.

Best wishes -

If you have your heart set on the UPH,you will have to alter your reservations.

You'll be at WDW four full days (unless you're staying on your return), so price the 4-day park hopper (not sure if plus is available on the 4-day). You'll barely have time for the major parks, so purchasing DQ and/or waterpark tickets separately if you decide to go would make more sense.

Price out the option of the UPH based on the number of days of your reservation (advance price), and on the adjusted price (regular price) and the park hopper or park hopper plus (check the discount sites (Paramount, Maple Leaf and others I don't recall off the top of my head) tickets, plus gate price of DQ, waterparks and PI (if interested) and compare.

Go with what works better for you!

We are driving from NC to WDW and will not be in the park on our arrival and departure date. We made a room only reservation for our arrival day. Booked the package with UPH for 4 nights and then booked another room only reservation on our night before departure. The UPH gives you admission on the last day of your package until midnight. We actually have three reservations, but it saved us around $100 per person to do it this way.

When we get there, we're going to head over to Fort Wilderness for the Campfire and movie program, watch Wishes and the Electric Water Pageant from the beach. We'll get a full night of Disney magic without all the cost.

Have a great trip!
