UPH - LOS passes

DW, DS, and I will be going with two other families needing passes for our upcoming trip. Will I be able to buy their passes for them at check-in and get the 10% discount? (We have days on our passes leftover from our last trip.)

It will depend on your room arrangements. Are you all sharing the same room? If so, your guest will not be able to purchase this type of pass, since everyone in the room has to be using the pass. At least that was what we were told when we took my sister and her DH a couple of years ago. If they are not staying in the same room they will be able to use the UPH. But they will only be able to receive the 10% off if they are staying in rooms that you are paying with by points. I hope that this makes sense. And maybe someone else will have different information that is more recent.

Yes, you can purchase UPH for your guests and get the 10% DVC discount. You can also drop first and/or last days from the pass. If some in the room won't need the pass you will not have to purchase it for them. DVC resorts are a little different than ordering the pass in advance.

Thanks for the replies-

I figured there should be no problem, but just wanted to check to make sure. I know that it sometimes has a great deal to do with the CM that checks you in, as well.
