upgrading US tickets

We are planning on going to US for 1 day only during our Orlando trip, however if something changes we may decide to go 2 days. If I purchase the tickets online for 1 day can I upgrade them to a 2 day for the park price difference?

Just go to guest services before you use your ticket and they will upgrade it for you.

you can still upgrade after you use your ticket as long as you do it before you leave the park that day.........
and just pay the difference.
