Upgrading UK Ticket to Premier Passport Annual Pass

We purchased our UK annual pass from ATD for our stay in Dec/January and since then we are likely going to be staying in Anaheim next April. I noticed that you can't get a 7 day park ticket for Disneyland so we would need to buy an annual pass.

Has anyone ever upgraded their UK ticket to a Premier Passport while at Disney World resort? Also would it matter when we did this during our stay?

The Premier Passport is SO expensive, it can't possibly be cost effective to do that. You will most likely find that 7 days at DL is far too many, the parks are much smaller and there are only two of them. It just isn't like WDW.

The Premier Passport is $1579 + tax. I would imagine you wouldn't get much more than $500 credit towards the cost so you are looking at well over $1000 per person. You would be able to buy 2 multi-day tickets for that amount, surely?

Agreed, we double checked the costs last year when we did Disneyland and WDW in the same trip, much cheaper to buy tickets separately.

If you avoid Spring Break and go on a weekday you can do most things at DLR in 2 days, and everything in 3 Days. Especially if you get MAXPasses.

Definitely not worth it. We've been to DLR twice and stayed five nights both times. We easily covered the parks in three days and only had the extra time because we wanted to do a bit of sightseeing.
