Upgrading to Gold AP

We were going to buy tickets from UT and upgrade when we are there next Sept, but we decided to just buy the vouchers for the Gold pass. I just worried if they were going to raise the price of the AP before we could upgrade.

If you have to upgrade at the Parks WDW because your ( 3rd party tickets expires), how can you get Fast Passes before you get there to upgrade.

Of course this goes into effect freaking a week before I need to upgrade my youngest’s Park saver ticket to a Gold AP.

I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. I don’t want to buy a voucher right now and then just have to sit on the park saver ticket for over a year.

I haven’t seen anything that points to AP changes. I could be wrong, but when AP prices rose in February, we were given advance notice. If anything, it seems Disney is pushing more folks toward APs with this new dynamic ticket pricing.

Do you remember how much notice was given of the price change this year? I'm going early December and sorta wanted to wait until then to make my decision. Plans are not finalized and my boss is a bit slow at approving vacation time.

You can make FPs for as many days as your existing tickets allow.
