I've been reading, reading, & reading about this! Appears we are eligible to upgrade to FL Resident AP's because we own a condo in Sarasota, FL (NOT a timeshare). We are snowbirds and are in FL from Oct. - May each year.
I'm trying to figure out the difference we will need to pay when we go to WDW this upcoming November.
Just bought 10 day hopper tickets from undercover tourist (prior to increase on 8/5/10).
Are my calculations correct?
Disney price for 10 day hopper - $336.54 (inc. tax)
FL Resident AP - $403.64 (NOT sure if this inc. tax)
Difference: $67.10
Also, PLEASE DON'T FLAME, just asking: Are we allowed to upgrade our grandkids tickets from their 7 day hopper to FL AP's? If this is allowed, then obviously we would take advantage of this.
I know that we need to use our original tickets one day before upgrading to AP's so that it will lock in the Disney price for the tickets.
Just trying to make sure I budget correctly.
