We just had an offer accepted for BLT. Figuring 90-100 days to complete the process once it is sent for ROFR, we *might* have our member number before our Thanksgiving trip.

I will be buying 6-day PH tickets soon, so that I have them in MDE to make our FPs in Sept. To be able to upgrade to APs, will we need a membership card in hand or will the number do? Do we have any options for upgrading to the AP if we don't happen to have the number at the time of our trip?

A member number will work to purchase an AP online or by phone, but you will need to go to guest relations or a ticket booth to activate your AP and at that time you would need your Member card. To purchase at a booth you need your member card.

We just closed (still waiting on letter) and have a trip planned for October and we were going to do the same thing with AP. Can the AP voucher or whatever is issued have fastpass added without the AP in hand?

You can have a member ID card printed at BLT, SSR, and a few other places onsite.

You can link an AP voucher to your MDE and make FP+ reservations at the 60 day mark.

Glad you asked this. I'm going to need to buy tickets soon so we can make FP, but I'm still hoping an DVC deal will come along.
