Upgrading to AP question.....

Our next trip is scheduled for November 2018. We will be buying 5 day, non-hopper tickets. We will most likely go again in November 2019 during the same week.

In 2018 tickets will be used 11/7 - 11/11

In 2019 tickets will be used 11/6 - 11/10

Is it possible to upgrade these tickets to an AP on our last park day in 2018 on 11/11 and then be able to use the AP through our 2019 trip? I have no idea if this would even create a savings, but 2019 is me/hubby's 40th and I can forsee possibly taking one in between trip.

If there is no in-between trip and just the 2018 and 2019 trips, does upgrading to an AP make any sense whatsoever?

I'm not good at math or figuring this all out. Thanks!

If you use your 2018 tickets on 11/7/2018 and upgrade them to APs, regardless of which day, they'll get an expiration date of 11/7/2018. You'd need to move your 2019 dates up by a few days to get that full trip out of the AP.

OK, thanks for that. I'll have to take a look at 2019 to even see if we could get a second family trip in.
