Upgrading to ap before entering the park

Hi!
I was planning on upgrading to an annual pass while I am on my trip this February. I just found out that with an annual pass you can get early entry to the park. Is there a way I can upgrade outside of the parks that early on my first day to take advantage of early entry my first day?

You can't get early entry with every AP, only the Premier and Preferred...not the Power or Seasonal.

Guest services outside the park is open before early admission.
