We plan on upgrading our 5 day p/h passes to annual passes on Tuesday. I know to use the tickets before doing the upgrade, but was wondering if we would get reimbursed for our parking fees for the day we enter a park before upgrading?

Thanks for any input on this question.

You should be able to do this, just mention it to the CM while doing the upgrade.

Make sure you bring your parking receipt with you. You must turn it in to get the refund.

Worked great. We got reimbursed for our parking expense for our first day at the parks. Upgraded our 5-day p/h passes to a FL seasonal and a FL annual pass. Only cost $78.81 to upgrade - a no brainer in my opinion, plus the reimbursement for parking. We upgraded at the Guest Relations office at Animal Kingdom. At first, the cast member quoted an incorrect upgrade price of $179.00 (glad we knew how much we should have to pay). A manager came to our rescue and we got the upgrade at what I had figured.

One note: If you pay for parking with a credit card, your credit card will be credited back. If you pay cash, you will be given cash back. According to the cast member and manager, however you pay for parking you will be reimbursed as such. And this has to be done separately from the upgrade price. You cannot apply the parking reimbursement to your upgrade cost.

Like to hear happy stories. :thumbsup2

As long as you do your upgrade before the ticket booths close for that day. You should be good.

I was even able to do it the next day as, I never thought about it until the CM that did my upgrade brought it up. I just took the parking receipt to EPCOT Guest Services the next morning as I went in to play for the day. I went in with a 9 day park hopper and after taking into account 9 days of Parking, It made the upgrade really only about $100. So with my $250 voucher from United for getting bumped a whole 40 mins. My next trip will only cost me Food and Lodging!!!!

Would this work the same if you were buying annual passes?
