Upgrading tickets

I do not know if this is the right board or not but here is my question. I have 2 5 day park hopper plus passes bought in December 04. Thought we would be going in April but did not. Anyway, I was wondering how much credit I would get towards an AP if I wanted to upgrade these tickets. They have never been used and we will be going in December 05 and April 06 and an AP would be the best bet for us. Just needing to know how much money it will cost. Thanks

Older tickets (pre-MYW) are figured a little different than MYW tickets are.

If the tickets were bought from Disney or AAA, you will get the price you paid for them as a credit towards the AP.

If they were purchased from a ticket wholesaler, you will get the wholesale price of the ticket that Disney charged the wholesaler. You won't get credit for the wholesaler's makrup (profit) on the ticket.

My mother bought these tickets from Disney as a Christmas gift for us. My whole family is going in April 06 so I figured the ticket could benefit us all with us getting lots of trips out of them and me possbily getting AP disc on rooms for the whole family. We would not turn them into AP until December when we go.
