Upgrading tickets?

Hi everyone! We may be making a last minute trip to DLP. I'm so excited! I'm wondering if anyone has experience with upgrading tickets from a package to an annual pass at the park gate? This is pretty common here at WDW. It seems like it would be worth it for discounts. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Sorry to say but you can not trade most package tickets in towards the cost of the Annual Pass. You can only do this with 1 day tickets, and there has to be a monetery value printed on the ticket though.

Trying to keep the threads clean here so posting another slightly related question. Can anyone confirm that tickets purchased with packages are hopper tickets? My confirmation says park tickets for 6 days. It didn't occur to me they could be one park! Anyone know?

yes they are park hopper tickets you get with a package booking at DLP.
