Help! I have (2) 1 day tickets to WDW. Has anyone traded a WDW ticket
for DL ticket AND upgraded?

I am wondering if this is possible?

Can I upgrade a non hopper to a hopper?

Thanks for your help!

Also, does anyone have some super fun suggestions for a 6 year old
boys birthday dinner? He loves T Rex and Sci Fi in WDW...

Thanks so much for your advice!!!!!

It has to be a non-expiring WDW ticket. If it was a non-hopper ticket at WDW, then they'll give you a non-hopper at DL which is currently $72. If it was a hopper, then they'll give you a hopper for both DL and DCA (which I believe is currently $97). I'm not sure, but I'd imagine you'd be able to just pay the difference to upgrade. The key here is that they have to be non-expiring WDW tickets.

In the past, we've exchanged our tickets and were given the cost of the remainder tickets toward the cost of the new, upgraded tickets that we wanted. It was very easily done.

Do they have to be non-expiring or can they just not be expired yet? For example, could you buy a 10 day WDW hopper, use five days at WDW and then hop a plane and spend another five days at DL?

Yes, you can do this. So long as the ticket is still valid at WDW, it is still valid at DLR. However, you can only exchange one day at a time. You can't exchange your 5 days for a 5 day park hopper. Each day you go to the turnstiles and get your ticket for the day.

Enjoy your trip!

Awesome! Thanks! I've no idea if we can pull this trip off, but I'm sure going to try. :goodvibes

I'm pretty sure the ticket you recieve in exchange for a WDW ticket is a comp'd ticket, which cannot be upgraded.
