Upgrading tickets to APs?

So I know at Disney you can "bridge" a regular ticket to an AP and apply what you spent on the original ticket toward the cost of an AP. Is that possible at Universal? I bought 2-day, 2 park tickets from AAA for September and just realized I'll be back in Orlando later in the year and it probably makes sense just to get an AP. Can I upgrade my ticket to an AP when I'm down there in September? Any restrictions? TIA!!

Yes you can. They will just charge you the difference in what you paid and in what the new price is.
