Hello!

I really need some help! (In more ways than one! :rotfl2:) I got a pin code back in March that let me book my vacation package with one tickets and free dining while staying on Disney property. I only bought one ticket for each family member (there are 4 of us) and we participated in the Giva a Day, Get a Day, so we each got a ticket for that. I then received tickets as a gift, that are one day, one park tickets. So my questions are this:

1.) When I check in, can I have all of these tickets put onto each person's one hard plastic ticket/room key?

2.) If I want to add a day, can I and pay the difference? :confused3

Total, each person in my party will have six tickets on their hard plastic KTTK card. Is this possible or am I crazy?

Thanks for your help and advice! :worship:

Wow, my first thought is, "you have a lot of money tied up in tickets."

From what you've described, each ticket is only a single entity. They cannot be combined into a multi-day ticket. Only one ticket at a time can be on your KTTW. You lost me on "each person in my party will have six tickets on their hard plastic KTTK card" - first of all, it can't be done and second, you said each person has (1) one-day ticket you purchased with your package; one GAD ticket; and one one-day ticket that was gifted to you. That's 3 tickets per person. You can add a day to any of them, but it will cost the difference between a 2-day ticket and a 1-day ticket, which is almost full price.

Hope this helps somewhat.

You certainly have an interesting situation. Unfortunately, you also don't really have any great options either. Because of the way Disney tickets are priced it doesn't really make much financial sense to use more than one physical ticket for each person on a single trip... and you're talking about using 6 different tickets for each person. An adult one day ticket is worth $84.14 (including tax), and you have 6 of them for each person, so that's a value of 504.84 each. But if you just bought a 6 day ticket you would only pay $246.02... so you're losing more than $250 by using 6 one day tickets instead of buying one 6 day ticket.

However, you can upgrade a one day ticket to a 6 day ticket and you'll just pay the difference in cost between the two tickets. If you want to do it that way, you could upgrade your GAD ticket (since that one expires at the end of the year if you don't use it) to a 6 day ticket for $161.88. Then you would have 5 one day tickets left over with a value of $420.70. Of course, the problem is that you can only upgrade one ticket at a time... so it would take you another 5 trips before you've used up all of your 1 day tickets.

To further complicate things, I don't know much about the tickets you were given. If you were just given normal park tickets then what I've described above will work and is probably your best way to save money, although it will require a bit of an extra cost now to upgrade your GAD passes. However, if you were given castmember or other special or complimentary tickets then it gets trickier... often those tickets have an expiration date (regular unused park tickets never expire) and complimentary tickets can't be upgraded. If you do have complimentary tickets, then they can only be used as a one day ticket and unless you're planning to come back for a shorter trip later (and they won't expire by then) your original plan might be better.

However, all that said, in answer to your question, you can only have one physical ticket on your KTTW card, so no... they can't put all 6 tickets on there... you would need to use a seperate ticket each day for each person.

Additionally, if you wanted to add a day to one of the tickets you would need to pay the cost of upgrading a 1 day ticket to a 2 day ticket ($82, including tax), so if you do decide to go with the 6 ticket plan then you're probably better off not adding any additional days.

If you write back and let us know more about these tickets you were given we might be able to come up with a better option for you... also let us know if you think you might be taking 5 more trips eventually so you could use up these extra tickets.

Plan 1. Do three days at Disney and the rest of the time at Universal, Sea World, etc. Then you can use the one day tickets as-is and there is no great loss using multiple ticket cards one at a time. Start with the Give A Day vouchers, then move on to the complimentary one day tickets.

Plan 2. Use just the Give A Day tickets, upgrade them for the entire vacation.

The quick answer is that the KTTW can only have one ticket on it. This can be a one day ticket or anything up to a ten day pass.

By definition an upgrade is taking one ticket and adding cash (or similar) and ending up with one ticket with more entitlements. You cannot combine two tickets to get one ticket with more features.

Thanks for the replies! I will just stick with what I have everyone. We got some free, complimentary tickets from a business that my husband associates with. We also bought one ticket and got our GAD tickets to use. I don't want to have to pay alot to upgrade tickets, so I will just use the one day, one park tickets that were given to us.

Thanks for you help!

Yeah, if the tickets you were given are complimentary tickets, then you really don't have a lot of options and just using all of your individual tickets is probably the best plan.

Since they're not park hoppers you won't be able to switch parks, but you can always leave the park and come back later in the day to the same if you want to go back to your room and rest or whatever. But be very careful if you do this that you use the same ticket to re-enter in the afternoon that you used originally in the morning. If you use a different ticket in the afternoon you'll wind up using two tickets on the same day and then you won't have enough tickets left for your last day. You might want to put a date on each ticket at the beginning of the trip to help keep everything straight.
