Hi, I haven't been to dland in 5 years or so but may be able to go meet my sister who is visiting this summer. Since she's coming during a blackout week can i buy a 3 day pass and then upgrade it on my last day to a socal select pass? I'm not sure if this is still allowed.
Also my friends are talking about taking our kids next June/July for their birthdays. Assuming I can do the above, can I have two annual passes at the same time? The one I get in August would still be valid at that point but blocked out. I don't have any control over the dates but figured at that point it is probably worth buying new passes that last another year versus buying a 3 day ticket or a black out day pass times 3.
Thanks!

They don't sell blockout passes anymore. No, you can't have 2 APs at once, they match your name and address. If you buy an AP in August you can renew it beginning 45 days before it expires and get a single blockout ticket on that day. Your only other option would be buy a multiday ticket or a higher level AP.

Thank you for the quick response! I guess I'm out of luck for next summer but when you said they don't sell blockout passes does that mean I cannot upgrade a 3 day ticket in august to a socal select pass? If so maybe I'll have to run the numbers on getting a deluxe pass in August. I'm not as concerned about the second trip as that's not set yet.

You can't go up and buy a blockout pass on a blockout day, but they have a little slip they can give when you upgrade. You could always just wait until the end of the 3rd day to upgrade.

Excellent, thank you! I knew this was the right place to ask and get good advice!
