Upgrading tickets and magic morning

I’ve read a few scattered reports recently of people upgrading their 3 or 4 day tickets and somehow losing their magic morning.

Anyone expirence this? Of course it’s got this worry wart thinking. We planned to upgrade our 4 day to a 5 day.

You can upgrade anytime before your last day right? Maybe we should upgrade after we use the magic morning on our second day?

3 weeks ago I upgraded my 5 day PH ticket to an annual pass. I hadn't used my Magic morning yet. So they gave me a ticket just for magic morning. It had the date it was good for. They scanned my pass then took the ticket. It was pretty easy.
