Upgrading SW AP to include BG?

Hi-

We have SW APs that are good through 11/24. We are FL residents and were thinking of heading to BG this weekend. I swear I remember hearing/reading that we could upgrade our APs to a Platinum (or whatever it is they call it) at a pro-rated rate for the remainder of the pass. Is this still possible? Or is there a different discount available that I'm not seeing?

I found some threads on the subject, but they were a few years old.

Anyone have success recently?

Yes, you can upgrade your SW APs to a Platinum pass. If your pass is paid in full, it will be pro-rated depending on the time you bought the original pass.

You also don't necessarily need the Platinum pass if you want to visit BGT - you can get a SW/BGT annual pass.

The way SW/BGT will upgrade in your situation probably is to sell you a new 1-year or 2-year 2-park AP and apply the prorated value of your current pass to that cost. You may get a $20 credit. They will not add the other park to your current pass at a prorated discount for only 3 months,
