upgrading reservations

I would like to upgrade my existing reservations from 2 cat. 10 rooms to 2 cat 8 or 9 rooms. Each room was $2300(2A and 1C in one room 1A and 2C in the other) My question is ..since I booked these rooms with early booking discounts , will they charge me the prices of these staterooms as of today , $1000 more for each cat 8 room and $1400 more for each cat 9 room (which would not be worth it since I would lose my early booking discounts)or do they have another way of pricing existing reservations. I am sailing on the 10/16/04 Magic.

When you booked, you were placed in a pricing "tier." If you are able to upgrade (the nicer rooms are available) you will be charged the price that they were selling for at the time you booked, not what they are selling for now. They will sell you the rooms at the tier you were booked into (does that make any sense?) IF the price has gone down, you will be charged the lower rate...but that doesn't usually happen.

To bad u did not get 2 secret porthole rooms on deck 5
they are cat 10 on deck 5 i dont know when your cruise is

But i would ask if they have conecting cat 10 on deck 5 rooms
they have portholes but are sold as inside state rooms..

if not avaliable then u would have to upgrade

another option is to wait til u get to the port...
reduced price if they have the rooms avaliable...
CRap Shoot..... if u really want it it is going to cost u in the neighbor hood of over 600.00 to 1000.00 dollars just a guess...
but close ill bet..
