One last quick question before we leave on Wed. I added on recently and got three one day one park tickets. I can apply the value of these to a DVC AP right? I'm pretty sure I can, but I wanted to double check!

Thanks!

Yes, you can. A WDW CM at GS told us years ago: "You can always upgrade a pass, but you can not downgrade them". We have found this to always be true. Not that we have ever attempted to downgrade; but have certainly done our share of upgrading passes.

I agree you can use them.

I keep saying one last question and then I think of more lol! Can i give them to my brother who is travelling with me to use to buy his DVC AP? He is not a member but he does live with me.

I had the same question and called OKW guest services and the CM said I couldn't use my three 1day passes towards two 5 day hoppers. I had to exchange them 1 ticket for 1 ticket....in other words, buy three 5 day hoppers and use the $63 credit towards each. Seems kinda unfair to me, but oh well, I can deal with it.

That is a long standing rule. Just save one and upgrade on a future trip.

If he can prove he's at the same address I don't see why not. The only issue I see and it applies to the OP as well, is whether they will allow you to use the discount and apply a ticket both. Past posts would suggest you can but it doesn't seem like the Disney way.

You can get the DVC-discounted AP and apply the value of 1 pass to its purchase. Many have done this and it is allowed.

Re the "Disney way":

Disney doesn't allow you to "stack discounts", but in this case, that is not what is happening.

Best wishes -
