Upgrading Park Hoppers

We are going to the resort in August, we have 5 day Park Hoppers. This is a late time to visit for us and now I'm thinking we will probably be back within a year. I am considering upgrading to annual passes if it is possible(I assume it is).

1- Is it possible?
2- Do I have to do it before we use a day?
3- Can I wait until the end of the trip and do it at the last day at the Parks if I decide to do so?

1) Yes (assuming it's a standard type of ticket).
2) No.
3) Yes, just do it before the end of that very last day on the ticket. The expiration date should be one year from the first day of use, though, not one year from the upgrade date.
