Upgrading park hopper ticket

If I already have a three-day park hopper ticket, can I upgrade it at the park to be a five-day park hopper ticket? Would the cost to upgrade just be the difference between the 3-day and the 5-day?

The 5 day is currently $300 so they'll deduct what you paid for your 3 day ticket from that and charge you the difference. You have to do this before the end of the third day of use.
