Upgrading MYW ticket to a AP

Can you upgrade a unused MYW ticket to an AP? I pre-purchased a 4 day park hopper ticket thinking I was only going to go to WDW one time this year. But it turns out HHI was booked for the time I could go in July so I'm considering a halloween/birthday trip with my DD and an AP would be more useful and cheaper.
