upgrading from cat. 11

How do you upgrade? I would like to but I have no idea how to do it.

Call your TA now and pay the additional cost to whatever category you want. Or you can wait and take a chance of upgrading at the pier and hope they have available the category you want . Have read on these boards that upgrading at the pier is less expensive than upgrading in advance.

But if a specific category is important to you, go ahead and book it now and then you'll be guaranteed of having the type room you want.

Good advice!!!! If you can be satisifed in the category you are in for a week, fine...but don't take a chance on being disappointed if they don't have the category you want at the pier. I would book what I want now to ensure I am a happy camper..er sailor!!!

It cost us just under 600.00 to upgrade from a cat. 11 to a cat. 5 at the port for a 3 night cruise, four people. Hope this helps!

When I discussed upgrading from cat. 11 to cat.4 their was an additional $4400 charge (includes 5th person not included on originally booking). I would like to upgraded but for that money it's not that important and I don't expect to spend that much time in the room anyway
