I received 4 complimentary one day passes to Disney World for adding on DVC points. I am planning a trip in Feb. 07. Has anybody used these passes to upgrade to multi-day park hopper pass? If so, did they apply the full value of these passes? Also, where did you do the upgrade?

Thanks!

Not an exact answer to your question, but here's how I used mine:
I bought a MYW multi- day ticket, and used the free pass to offset the cost of adding on the park hopper option.
I went to the Member Services window to the right of the ticket booths at the entrance to EPCOT. The amount of credit I was given was the same as for a one day ticket ($60-something).
Hope this helps.

1) Comp tickets have ZERO value.
2) They
. . . cannot be upgraded
. . . cannot be refunded
. . . cannot be combined with other tickets
. . . cannot be applied to other tickets (eg. annual passes)

It's true that complimentary tickets cannot be upgraded.

However, I believe that the tickets DVC is giving out as incentives are not really complimentary passes (like the ones the CMs get). I believe they are the standard 1 day, 1 park passes and that is why they can be upgraded.

Best wishes -

It appears that we can upgrade the free 1 day park passes provided by DVC (add on incentive). Does anyone know if this needs to be done at guest relations before entering the park?... or can we enter the park and go to guest relations later in the day to make the upgrade?

I hate to miss the rope drop! :surfweb:
