Upgrading DVC special ticket

We bought a 5 day pass through DVC. We have decided to stay longer and want to add a couple of days, member services said I could but when I went to concierge they said the tickets could not be altered. Any advice?

I would try at guest services at a park or DTD. I could not convert old tickets at concierge, but could at GS. Please post back whether you had success. There was a debate whether one could upgrade on this BB. Some were told yes, others, no.

I'm pretty certain that the info posted with the most recent DVC tickets sold said they were able to be upgraded. However, as they were likely special tickets you will likely only get the value that you actually paid applied. I'd always go to a GS location for this.

If you bought 4 or more days, you got an extra day free. If you added the Park Hopper, they gave you the WPF&M option free. The purchase window was 1/4/2016 thru 3/31/2016.

If they are the free day tickets like in the post above we asked at guest services about adding a day and was told being they were special tickets we only got credit for what we paid so it was going to be more then the few bucks that it would be for a regular ticket

I was able to add another day at guest services at Epcot for $50. Guest services at SSR said it would be full ticket price
