Upgrading Discovery Cove Ticket to include Aquatica

Hi There

We are looking to do Discovery cove this March (Family of 5). They have a spring special, a 50/ person discount -- woohoo- thats a 250 savings for us .

However, when I go to book the special price online at Discoverycove,, it wont let me select an 'add on' ticket for the aquatica (thats where I saw the spring savings discount).

If I select a date that DOES NOT have the spring savings of 50 bucks, then I CAN select the 'add on at Aquatica' for 70 bucks.

My question is - Can I buy the discounted spring break ticket for Discovery cove, and then just upgrade my ticket at the park on the day we arrive? That way I can get the spring savings deal, plus the slightly discounted aquatica tickets?

I was told when I booked my reservation for June that you can upgrade the ticket to include Aquatica at anytime including the day you go to Discovery Cove as long as you have not used your tickets prior to that day. For us that was no problem as Discovery Cove is our first full day of vacation in Orlando so we can buy the upgrade that morning.

I'm hoping for the amex deal from last year and that will mostly pay for our upgrade.
