Upgrading cdn. Ticket beforehand

Hi all...hoping for an answer here instead of waiting on the phone:

I bought a base cdn. Resident 10 day ticket starting March 8 2020. I would like to upgrade to hopper but website says you have to do that in person at a ticket window/guest relations.

However, the offer expires in February, so if I wait until I get there in March I will lose the discount. Anyone have experience trying to upgrade over the phone?

If you bought the ticket through Disney, they will do it over the phone. If you got it through Air Miles, you have to do it there in person.
